For the first time on July 16-17, 2011, MINI Challenge Germany will be contested under the tented roof of Munich’s Olympia Stadium, the site of the 1972 Summer Olympics. The races will be staged on one of the stadium’s access roads which has been specially asphalted for the occasion. The circuit length totals 1,192 kilometres. In contrast to normal circuit procedure, the drivers will race through the stadium against the clock in pairs.
