Question About The Countryman Seatbelt Tensioner Cavity Design
Dan Frio at edmund's inside line Long Term Road Tests posts about the 2011 MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 belt tensioner cavity design. He says, in part:
The MINI, our MINI, expresses itself in quirky, sometimes frustrating ways. And sure, maybe the designers are trying a little too hard. But look at that belt tensioner cavity and tell me somebody wasn't working with a Red Bull contact high while designing THAT thing. Is it a heart? A variation on the Stones logo? The open gob of a clown come unhinged?
Not sure. But whatever it is makes the MINI what it isn't: an appliance.
