Universal Technical Institute (UTI) is advertising that it provides the "MINI Service Technician Education Program (STEP) MSAT," a "10-week post-graduate invitation-only program whose graduates are touted to be "among the highest quality technicians servicing MINI dealers." The program is designed to "train high-quality technicians for MINI dealers" and graduates become MINI Level One certified technicians. UTI says "MINI pays your tuition."
The program is offered at UTI's Orlando, Florida campus. Acceptance to the program is an honor offered only to those that have a high GPA, stellar attendance and a clean motor vehicle record. Candidates must also pass an entrance exam, drug test and interview. MSAT students may have to relocate, but pay no additional tuition.
