Taking A Classic From England To Egypt For Charity


According to the Welwyn Hatfield Times 24 Nicky West and Rob Stacey travelled 11,000km to Egypt in a 1961 Mini Minor, in support of the Willow Foundation, a charity that organizes special days out for young people aged 16 to 40. The couple drove through France, Monaco, Italy, Greece and Turkey, eventually reaching the Great Pyramids of Giza before heading home in their 850cc Mini. They completed the roundtrip in 35 days and hope to raise a British Pound per mile for the charity.
