In the finale of MINI Challenge Germany at Salzburgring fourth place finisher Nico Bastian (344 points), racing for Team GIGAMOT/Sport1 racked up enough points to be the overall winner of MINI Challenge Germany. In the MINI Challenge Brazil finale in the capital Brasilia Patrick Gonçalves defied the pouring rain to defend his title.
