Peterhansel Maintains Overall Lead After Stage 7 Of The 2012 Dakar Rally

Stage 7 of the 2012 Dakar Rally proved trying for MINI ALL4 Racing.  Stephane Peterhansel finished the stage in third place to maintain his overall 2012 Dakar Rally lead. Krzysztof Holowczyc (Poland) and Jean-Marc Fortin (Belgium) took fourth. Nani Roma and Michel Périn followed in fifth position. Ricardo Leal dos Santos Paulo Fiuza and Leonid Novitskiy/Andi Schulz finished seventh and eighth respectively.
