New Oil Change Interval For MINIs

MotoringFile reports that it appears MINI now recommends an oil change interval of 1 year/10,000 miles, which was the same interval recommended on the R50 and R53. The prior recommendation for the R56 was 1 year/15,000 miles.

[BTW, does anyone really wait 15K or even 10K before they have an oil and filter change performed?]
