Strike May Be Imminent At Oxford MINI Plant

Rutland Stanford Mercury reports workers at the MINI car plant near Oxford have rejected a pay offer, raising the threat of the first strike at the factory since 1984. The union said 97% of its members voted against a deal which included a 2.2% pay rise, because of the "strings" attached to the deal.
