MINI Cooper Wins AutoPacific's 2012 Ideal Vehicle Award
AutoPacific gave its 2012 Ideal Vehicle Award to the 2012 MINI Cooper since, based on owners' assessments, it comes closest to the ideal of any Premium Compact Car. The MINI achieved a score of ninety-percent from MINI owners in their rating of the exterior size, interior lighting, exterior styling and ride and handling as being near ideal. Eighty-percent or more of MINI owners also found these additional characteristics ideal: wheels, driver’s seat comfort, power and acceleration, ease of getting in and out and safety features.
Owners sought improvement in the Infotainment system; 30% wanted more cargo space; 26% wanted more passenger roominess; 33% wanted more interior storage compartments; 28% want better driver’s seat visibility; and 28% of MINI owners wanted more infotainment technology in their car.
