A Classic Mini Faster Than A Bugatti Veyron

Metro from the UK, in its "Weird" Section, has an article on a street-legal, modified, 700 horsepower classic Mini owned by Stuart Meads that clocks 0 to 60 mph in 2 seconds.  In the article Meads claims,

"Over a quarter of a mile the Mini is faster than a Bugatti Veyron I would say, and actually a good second faster."
