FortyOneSix's Road Test Of The 2014 MINIs

FortyOneSix got seat time in the new MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S at the MINI Puerto Rico Test Drive Press Event and comes away with this conclusion:
Indeed, with the new car it really is a tale of two Coopers, and it’s the cheaper, simpler one that’s the most enjoyable of the pair. Not that the S isn’t hugely entertaining, indeed it’s the measure of the current crop of supermini hot hatches. But the Cooper seems to massively over-deliver, brings with it a modicum more feel and interaction, at a price around £3000 less than the S. Save the money and spend it on a trip to Puerto Rico perhaps, only don’t drive there, the roads are just as bad as ours.
