2015 MINI Cooper Countryman To Debut At NYIAS

AutoGuide.com reports the 2015 MINI Cooper Countryman is set to debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. It also advises, in part:
. . . updates are expected to help keep the Countryman relevant until the second-generation model arrives somewhere around 2016.

Based off the new BMW 1 Series architecture, that car is expected to make use of a new powertrains including the new turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine and turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder found in the new 2014 hardtop models.
