BMW of North America is recalling its 2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop two-door cars over an issue with the spare wheel tire that could separate from the vehicle. At least 5,805 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Affected BMW vehicles were manufactured from January 7, 2014 to July 21, 2014.
