MINI Deliveries Stopped Due To Incorrect Stickers?

MotoringFile thinks it found out why MINI deliveries were stopped:

Apparently the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is incorrect on both the VIN label and the cargo weight capacity tire label. Since the values on the labels is federally regulated by the NHTSA, MINI is required to notify the NHTSA that they are going to change the labels. And of course they’re legally obligated to since they do not comply with federal regulations.
