Rory Jurnecka takes a drive in the 2013 MINI Cooper S Paceman, the first one for
Motor Trend. In his review Jurnecka concludes:
The Paceman is a little odd in that that Countryman could be seen as the most practical Mini to come along to date for those needing space and even some light off-road capability. The Paceman, on the other hand, neuters some of what makes the Countryman a good car in the name of style. Mini makes no bones about its feeling that there are plenty of people who want the chic looks of a Range Rover Evoque without the premium price tag. And Mini is probably right.
