MotoringFile reports that MINI’s U.S. division will release a limited edition "Laurel Sport" this March. Each U.S. dealer gets one hardtop (R56), one Clubman (R55) and one convertible (R57). Only 100 vehicles per model will be built in total for the US. The vehicles will combine "sporty components with exclusive accessories meant to evoke a classic British style." The cars are loaded with black wheels and JCW parts and accessories and come in summer and winter configurations. Cost? $29,695 (MINI Cooper S Hardtop, R56); $31,445 (MINI Cooper S Clubman, R55); $34,545 (MINI Cooper S Convertible, R57)-(Including $700 for destination & handling). Some dealers may vary.
Look for the cars to be delivered to dealers in March and April.
