Compared to hot hatches like the Clio Renaultsport, and the forthcoming Ford Fiesta ST and Peugeot 208 GTI, the MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works is a more expensive proposition. But we could feel the value of that extra cost every single time we took it for a drive.
The engine's like a slingshot, the chassis a peach - if you can afford one, you should buy one. The MINI Cooper S JCW is a fantastic car.
