We met at the Marina Green in San Francisco, and we then proceeded to cross the Golden Gate bridge in the fog. Eight minis followed the route to the regroup point, to the backroads in Mill Valley, and finally to MINI of Marin successfully. We were greeted by the wonderful staff at the dealership and they had setup breakfast; bagels, fresh fruit, and coffee for all of our NorCal members. We distributed 30 goodie bags complimentary from MINI of Marin for all of our members and we had received positive responses in the organization of our event.
Leaving to Point Reyes, we were separated by countless traffic lights in San Anselmo. Although, everyone managed to catch up to a line of 25 cars. We drove on the twisties through the forest to Point Reyes and three NorCal members had won official MINI shirts and one from the British car show.
We had left Point Reyes towards South on Highway 1 passing through Stinson Beach to Corte Madera Town Center for our lunch at Flores. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the wonderful lunch. A great day was had by all. And all members are looking forward to attend the next event; namely our Annual Holiday party on Saturday December 7th!
