MINI Canyon Looks To Be Real

Rumors continue to fly that MINI will build a three-door shorter Countryman that has been dubbed the "Canyon." AutoExpress says it will be designed to slot above the Countryman in positioning and will feature a distinctively lower roofline and plenty of aggression. Inside, it will resemble the John Cooper Works models. The engine is the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with levels although a high-performance 2.0-liter turbodiesel is also likely to be launched. In an all-wheel drive configuration the Canyon might be competitive in next year's World Rally Championship.
