If you have never heard of this contest the idea is to design, operate and exhibit a production-capable car that meets federal safety guidelines, with a working business plan to produce and sell 10,000 annually by 2014. The car must deliver at least 100 MPG and CO2 emissions no greater than 200 grams per kilometer. The winner gets ten million dollars ($10,000,000.00).
