MINI has released the following details about the choices of engines that will be available for the Countryman. At least in Europe there will be five available engines: two diesels and three gasoline ones. All engines are built to meet the Euro 5 and the US emissions regulations. The diesels will be the MINI One D Countryman, with 90 HP, and the MINI Cooper D Countryman, with 112 HP. The MINI One gasoline unit has 98 HP, the Cooper 122 HP and the Cooper S 184.
