ProDrive has announced that it has successfully completed its shakedown phase of the Countryman WRC at its private test area in Warwickshire, UK. The engineers spent four days on tests that focused on tarmac driving. The vehicle is now being shipped to Portugal for a week of special gravel testing. The first test car is using test mule body parts, with the final WRC body design still under development. MINI intends to run some of the 2011 WRC before preparing for a full season of racing in 2012.
