I’d say a Miata is better for that, though, and cheaper too. But, people do love the quirky styling, and it does have more utility than any Mini drop-top that came before.

If you do decide to buy one, here’s our advice: Keep the three-cylinder, get summer tires, and motor to your heart’s content.
