UPI.com reports on this story from the British Daily Mirror that British police officers caused 64 crashes per week in the UK in 2008, for total police carnage of 3,357 accidents, hospitalizing 126 people. The European Federation of Road Traffic Victims, with masterful understatement, exclaimed - There should be better road training for all officers. Police should not be allowed to speed or break road laws unless someone's life is at risk.
