MotoringFile source spotted a spice orange (new 2011 MINI color) MINI go down the Oxford assembly line. Conjecture is it is a pre-production version of the MINI Convertible D. The source further was "adamant" the engine was not a 1.6L Prince but a "four cylinder diesel similar (if not identical) to the 2.0L diesel found in the 320d." In the BMW that engine has 163 hp and gets somewhere in the low 40 mpg range US. Unfortunately, the diesel is
not coming to the U.S.
