This story is out of North Carolina. Seems a man named Chris was rebuilding and modding an engine for his 1997 Camry (we don't know why someone would do this but Chris reportedly put about $3,000 into the project) when someone got in his garage and stole the engine. Within a few hours the valve cover and other parts of the engine appeared for sale on Craigslist at an address around the corner from his house. Chris arranged to go look at the parts but first called 12 of his 6' 5" and 270 lb. rugby buddies to wait down the road and come storming in if he called one of his cell phone.
Chris knocked on the door and the seller handed Chris his own valve cover to inspect which Chris was able to recognize by its faded paint job. Chris then asked the seller if he had any other car parts. The seller brought him to the garage where Chris' engine was sitting on a tire. Chris made the call and his 12 friends immediately tore apart and through the garage door. The seller fled out the back and hasn't been seen since!
Chris got his engine back.
