The Kuwait Times reports Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive is a sponsor of Team MINI Kuwait, consisting of pilots Mishal Al Nejadi and Ali Al Shamali, in the first round of the six rounds of the 2013 Kuwait Rally Championship:

The car charged with this task is the MINI John Cooper Works S2000. The powerful heart of the racing car is a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-charged engine from MINI Motorsport, producing 275 horsepower.

NorCal MINI's club officers and directors are volunteers who dedicate their own time, knowledge and skills to making a difference in the MINI community.

We have fund raisers for charitable causes meaningful to our members while having fun in our Minis. 100% of any donations made go to the charities.

Annual dues are used for the support of Club operations such as reservations, administrative supplies or charity.

--- MEMBERSHIP DUES ---

NORCAL MINIS is open to all and ownership of any MINI model car is encouraged, but not required.

Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to membership. Membership begins on date dues are received by the club Treasurer and expire on December 31st of the same year.

New members are $35

Renewals are $25, during open enrollment period only otherwise the cost is $35

Members must be at least 18 years of age with legal rights to sign any event disclaimers. One spouse or significant other, per paid membership is considered a member with all the rights and privileges of Club membership.
