College Of West Anglia Students Prep Car For MINI Challenge

Students of the Isle campus of the College of West Anglia in the U.K. are preparing a MINI to race in 2014's MINI Challenge races at Silverstone, Brand’s Hatch, Donington and Oulton Park.

One of the College's fundraising efforts so to afford to prepare and race the MINI they bought at auction, and that has been painted bystudents in the college’s paint and body shop, is to see investors who can have their company logo on the vehicle, get free tickets to race meetings and have the chance to have a day’s testing in the college’s go karts.

The Isle team of eight, including three females, has a technical director, business manager, three technicians, business assistant and two support engineers. Supporting them is teaching support officer for motorsport, Jack Howling. The racing will be televised on Motors TV according to the Weisbech Standard.
