Everyone Seems To Be Going Topless At The 2011 NYIAS

Next week is the 2011 New York International Automobile Show (NYIAS) and organizers are already calling it the year of the convertible. There will be more new convertibles than ever before offering buyers a choice between models with conventional rag tops or retractable hardtops.

BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Fiat, Mercedes, Nissan, and Volkswagen, among others, have new convertibles and Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche and Rolls Royce will also display new topless vehicles. Mazda's classic MX-5 Miata, MINI’s Convertible, the Volkswagen Eos, the new Chrysler 200 Convertible, the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, the Shelby GT500 Convertible, the new Volvo C70 Convertible, the 2012 model year 650i Convertible and the Audi R8 Spyder will also be there.
