Here are some of the changes to the Countryman you can expect for 2012:
- A new "Technology Package: that includes the Center Armrest, Park Distance Control, Harman/Kardon Sound System and MINI Connected or MINI Connected w/Navigation.
- Optional Black Headlight Housings.
- Changes to the Premium Package to include Alarm System, Comfort Access, Chrome Line Interior, Auto Dim Rearview Mirror, Rain Sensor/Auto Headlight and Auto A/C. (This deletes Dual Pane Sunroof and HK Sound System from the package.)
- The Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof will become a $1,000 stand-alone option.
- The Convenience package will no longer be available. The Bluetooth and USB/iPod adapter and Universal garage-door-opener will become stand alone options.
- The $500 Alarm system will be part of Premium Package, while the $500 Park distance control system will be grouped into the new Technology package.
