Here's What Is Most Likely To Go Wrong With Your Car

CarMD conducted its first CarMD® Vehicle Health IndexTM, the first ever to divulge a range of statistics regarding the most common repair and reliability problems and costs that affect all 1996 and newer vehicles driven in the U.S. – foreign and domestic. The Index analyzed repairs made to 225,000 vehicles with problems that led to a CEL. The average cost to fix the problem and extinguish the lamp in 2010 according to the index was $305.56 in the United States, with Florida coming closest to the average at $305.05. Alaskan motorists pay the most for such repairs on average ($353.74), while Mississippi residents pay the least ($256.47).
