Ft. Bragg Skunk Train Overnight A Coastal Dream

On Saturday, August 13,, 2011, NorCal MINIs drove to Ft. Bragg and hopped on the Skunk Train for a magnificent train ride to a BBQ dinner in the coastal redwoods (followed by a few pints at North Coast Brewing.) On Sunday, many had a magnificent breakfast at Eggheads, a hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Ft. Bragg. We had originally planned to take the Comptche-Ukiah Road to Ukiah. However, the coast was clear and the weather was glorious. Thus, we called an audible and cruised down Highway 1 from Ft. Bragg to Jenner with a stop at the Pt. Arenas Light Station and another for clam chowder and lunch at the Chowder House and Tap Room in the Pt. Arenas harbor.
