Chris Chilton provides a first drive review of the 2014 MINI Cooper S for the United Kingdom's Car and provides this verdict:

BMW has done a great job on the new Mini, retaining all the charm of the old car, but putting some real effort into fixing the things we hated. The faster, quieter, greener, roomier and just plain smarter new Mini is still the default choice for those who want more from a small car than mere transport.

We have fund raisers for charitable causes meaningful to our members while having fun in our Minis. 100% of any donations made go to the charities.

Annual dues are used for the support of Club operations such as reservations, administrative supplies or charity.

--- MEMBERSHIP DUES ---

NORCAL MINIS is open to all and ownership of any MINI model car is encouraged, but not required.

Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to membership. Membership begins on date dues are received by the club Treasurer and expire on December 31st of the same year.

New members are $35

Renewals are $25, during open enrollment period only otherwise the cost is $35

Members must be at least 18 years of age with legal rights to sign any event disclaimers. One spouse or significant other, per paid membership is considered a member with all the rights and privileges of Club membership.
