A government driving survey has come up with some sobering statistics. According to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration more than 16 percent of nighttime weekend drivers test positive for marijuana, cocaine and over-the-counter and prescription drug use. More than 8 percent test positive for marijuana. Other statistics likely to lead to increased DUI enforcement are that motorcycle riders were more than twice as likely as passenger vehicle drivers to be drunk, followed by pickup truck drivers, especially between 1 and 3 a.m.
