Giving The MINI Diesel The Sound Of A V8

Using "Active Sound Design," an electro-acoustic system that makes use of microphones and the vehicle's sound system to change the engine's sound characteristics, MINI has been able to provide numerous difference sound profiles for the MINI including the sound of a V8. Check out the video. It shows a Mini Clubman diesel prototype produce four-different engine sounds including the V8.
