Today the MINI Oxford Plant at Cowley celebrates its 10th Anniversary. It was on July 12, 2001 that the first new MINI rolled off the assembly line at the Plant. Last year the Plant produced 216,302 cars. When it first opened BMW estimated the Plant would not produce more than 100,000 MINIs a year.
