Aloha Rally Benefits County Food Bank

On Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 9am – 4pm, MINI of Concord and NorCal MINIs will be holding an Aloha Rally event benefiting the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. This event is open to all.
The first 100 rally cars receive a commemorative event decal sticker. Guests are asked to bring a non perishable food item as their entry. Guests can wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt and join us as we tour some of the best back roads in the East Bay Area. After the tour, there will be a Luau Party at MINI of Concord featuring authentic Hawaiian food, games and Polynesian dancers! Great door prizes are up for grabs and there will be a raffle for all who attend.
Guests can RSVP at MINIofConcord.com or 925-682-3577 x175.
The Food Bank was founded in 1975 with the purpose of reducing food waste and alleviating hunger through an efficient, cost-effective, centralized system for collecting and distributing food to people who would otherwise go hungry.
The Food Bank started as a small organization, operating out of a trailer and distributing bread and other perishable food. The Food Bank has grown into a central clearinghouse for food in Contra Costa and Solano counties distributing over 12 million pounds of food per year. The Food Bank now serves more than 132,000 people in need every month.
